Cade’s Not Going to Jail

on February 5, 2010

About a block away from making it home Friday night, we were pulled over for my apparent expired tags (oops). I rolled down the window and as the policeman approached the car, Cade yells out the window, “You’re not taking me to jail!”

At the time, I did not see the humor…

When he went back to the patrol car to write my citation, Cade then begins to yell,“Go, Mommy, GO! Just drive! Drive NOW!”

I think I may be in trouble with this one.

Yikes. wonder what the police man said about that. although it does sound something that cade would do.

Wow…too bad he feels that way about police. While funny on the face of it, our cops sure get a bad wrap. It’d be nice if TV and movies show the COUNTLESS good things they do for us all. Time for a tour of your friendly local police station. Really – they LIKE it when kids visit. Usually let them run the lights and sirens, too. Just call ahead and ask. (They’re also willing to do school visits.)

WOW! What has he done wrong…lol
