The Trick
We don’t let the kids have candy regularly, so Halloween candy is a big deal to them. Even at Halloween it’s limited to one or two peices a day. So this was a really fun trick to play on them. Ever had a Warhead? If you have, you’ll know exactly what they are experiencing here. If you haven’t I recommend you try it so you can at least know why this is hysterical!
Halloween 2008 – Tricks Were Played
I think next year, we’re going to Trick-Or-Treat just once. The week long candy begging marathon is just exhausting. We did have a good time though and recorded the memories in stills and video. Here’s a few pics of our Star Wars Halloween. Elliot a Clone Trooper and Cade as Yoda.
Here’s a little video montage of our trick-or-treating this year. It took Cade a minute, but he figured it out pretty quickly. He’s still a little confused because whenever anyone said “trick-or-treat” to him, he pulled candy out of his bucket and handed them some. It was very cute and sweet. Elliot seemed more interested in climbing rocks and exploring terrain than actually gathering candy. He kept wanting to take breaks and rest. Too much walking he said. Perhaps he’s the laziest Clone Trooper ever.
