Elliot & Cade's World

How Much Wood Can a Woodchuck Chuck?

woodchuckFor Mother’s Day, my husband and the boys took me out to eat at our local Irish Rover. There I had a pint of Woodchuck Cider. This inspired Elliot to sing this little jingle:

Too much Mario Time?

Elliot came to me the other day and asked if he could use the video camera. After laying down the rules, I set him free having no idea what it was exactly he planned on doing with it. Yesterday was Easter Sunday, so I needed to clear a little hard drive space on the camera for recording some family festivities. During the data dump, here’s a little of what I found from Elliot’s time spent with the flip cam:

I think we may be spending a little too much time with Mario and Luigi!

Being “Sartastic”

You may have noticed, Elliot is very picky about his music. This conversation transpired in the car on the way to the sitter today:

On the radio: Don’t Dream It’s Over ~ Crowded House (mom singing along)

Elliot: Can you just drop me off here and come pick me back up when this song is over?

Mom: What?!? This is Crowded House, man! Good stuff!

Elliot: I hope you’re being sartastic. [translation: sarcastic] Because I…am…NOT! I am being very serious. You’ll know I’m being sartastic if I say something happy using a mad voice.

[then mumbles to himself]

How does crap like this even get on the radio?
